DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY1: HANOI-HOA LU ANCIENT –CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK
From Hanoi, we drive south to Hoa Lu, site of the tenth-century capital of an early ,independent Vietnamese kingdom called Dai Co Viet. we will visit 2temples dedicated to king Dinh Tien Hoang who seized power in 968 AD and King Le Dai Hanh in 980AD. From here we continue our journey to Cuc Phuong National Park. Once we have settled into our rooms we will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue centre and learn a little of the work that is being done to preserve the endangered native primates. Spend the night at the Cuc Phuong national park guesthouse. Next is dinner. (L/D)

DAY2: CUC PHUONG- HANOI
Rising this morning with the sounds of the forest all around us, we take a drive to the center of the park, where we commence our today’s trek through the lush rainforest, past centuries old trees and to caves once inhabited by prehistoric humans. At early this afternoon we will leave Cuc Phuong heading back Hanoi. In Hanoi transfer to hotel for check in .end of services. (B/L)

DAY1: HANOI- HALONG BAY
Leave Hanoi at early in the morning for Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board the Huong Hai or Bai Tho traditional sailing junk. Whilst cruising the exquisite waters sample the regions fresh seafood. Visit the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Alternatively journey to Dau Go Cave and nearby see the famous stalagmites and stalactites of Thien Cung Cave. Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay at any spot that you wish to visit. Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner. Overnight on board junk (L/D)

DAY2: HALONG- HANOI
Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. En route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle’s nose! After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board disembark at the dock at Halong City. Transfer back to Hanoi by road and transfer to hotel on arrival (B/L)

DAY1: HANOI-BABE NATIONAL PARK
With an early departure from Hanoi this morning we head north towards Ba Be Lake. This drive of 270 km, which will take approximately seven hours, takes us through the flatlands of the Red River Delta and up into the mountain areas north of Hanoi. As we progress north, the scenery becomes more and more picturesque. From our scheduled lunch stop it is only around two and a-half-hours to our destination. Arriving in Ba Be town by mid afternoon we will check into our guest house and then head out for a bit of exploration before the sun sets.(L/D)

DAY2: BABE NATIONAL PARK CRUISES
After breakfasting at our guesthouse we drive the short distance to the jetty where we board our private boat for a cruise on the lake to visit the Bat Caves, Dong Dang waterfall and if the  Weather permitting we can have a swim in crystal clear waters before having lunch. Following lunch we board our boat to the Tay village of Pac Ngoi. A visit to this small hamlet will enable us to witness how little the lives of the people in these remote areas have changed. We will be the guests of the Tay people tonight.(B/L/D)

DAY3: BABE- HANOI
This morning we will commence our return journey to Hanoi. En route we will make a stop at the interesting Thai Nguyen Ethnology Museum. Arrival back into Hanoi will be approximately mid afternoon.(B)

from Ha Noi to Ha long will take about 3hours of journey, stopping en route for relaxing at a handcraft center at Sao do town. Carry on our driving for one and half hours more, at around 12pm we will get to ha long city, you will board on our traditional-designed wooden junk, lunch will be serving while the boat is sailing for the sung sot caven. Get off the boat for visiting the cave in 30minutes time, next is cruising to TiTop beach for swimming or just simplely sitting on the boat’s top deck and looking the sun is slowly setting to behind the formations at middle Halong bay. Overnight on boat. (L/D)

DAY2: HALONG-CAT BA ISLAND
After breakfast, we will be transferred by a smaller boat to continue our cruising heading for Catba island. There are plenty of opportunities to photograph beautiful landscapes with various shapes of the formations rising up from crystal blue water. We will pass some more fishing villages and Oyster farms before arriving Catba Island. Transfer to hotel for check in then you will be free for exploring the town on your own. Overnight in Catba Island Hotel. (B/L/D)


DAY3: CAT BA-HAI PHONG CITY- HANOI
Following breakfast we visit the Cat Ba National Park to visit the old Military Hospital cave that was used by the North Vietnamese Army during the American war. We will return to Cat Ba town ship before boarding the one-hour ferry service back to Vietnam’s largest sea port and third largest city, Hai Phong. Arriving in Hai Phong we transfer to our waiting vehicle for the two hour drive back to Hanoi. (B, L)

Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth.
After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with Halong Ginger golden sails, go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fishmen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations.
At sunset time, kayak or symply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board Halong Ginger, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant. (L/D)DAY2: HALONG BAY-HANOI
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. Get off our boat for visiting a village, enjoy the way the local villagers produce popcorn and rice papers. Have lunch in Cai Be town. Enjoy a wonderful boat trip on beautiful CANALS through some islands and cross Mekong River (Upper branch) to Vinh Long town. Walk to see a very interesting and busy local market in Vinh Long, especially seeing many sorts of fresh-water fish, vegetables and tropical fruits. Driver for 35 Km to the ferry station. Cross Mekong River (lower branch) by ferry to Can Tho City, the biggest and the most developed city in Mekong Delta, famous for rice products. Once arrival. Transfer to Victoria Hotel for check in. diner in the hotel. (L/D)

DAY 2:CANTHO- CAIRANG –PHONGDIEN-LONGXUYEN-CHAUDOC
After breakfast, early in the morning ,Take our chances to visit a very busy floating market of caibe with the boats carry full of vegetables and fruits .its a great time to photogragh the popular activity of Mekong delta people are trading on the water. Next is Enjoyed our boat trip along natural Canals for about 20 Km on the way to Phong Dien floating market. Stop on the way to take a walk to visit some local villages and their fruit gardens, also to discover the life of local people in Mekong Delta who mainly live along the canals. After Visit Phong Dien Floating Market. We will drive for another 100km to Chau Doc town. Lunch on the way. Visit an incense-making village in Long Xuyen City where incense sticks are made by hands. Climb up Sam Mountain in the afternoon to view the border with Cambodia and beautiful sunset over the rice paddies. Visit Cave pagoda and Holy-Laly temple at the foot of Sam Mountain. Check in hotel in Chau Doc for the overnight. (B/L/D)

DAY 3: CHAUDOC-LONGXUYEN-MYTHO-SAIGON
Boat trip to visit a special floating village where local people are living and raising fresh-water fish under the foundation of their houses.  Visit a part of former Vinh Te border canal with Cambodia. Continue by boat to the Cham Village on the island to see Cham people weaving towers and sarongs as the main way of earning their living.  See their mosque where children learn Arabic. Drive back to My Tho passing over a very beautiful, huge and suspended My Thuan bridge built over Mekong River. Have lunch on the way. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the oldest pagoda in Mekong Delta. Arrival in Saigon at late afternoon. End of services.(B)
